Dogodilo Se Na Danasnji Dan

Galileo Galilei je izveden pred sud u namještenom sudskom procesu od strane Svete Stolice zbog toga što je u svom djelu iznio učenje Kopernikovog heliocentričnog sustava kao jedinog ispravnog. Prema teoriji heliocentričnog sustava, Sunce predstavlja centar svemira, a ne Zemlja kako se do tada smatralo.

Galileo Galilei je osuđen na odricanje od svog učenja, na što je on i pristao, bojeći se da ga ne bi zadesila ista sudbina kao i Giordana Bruna - filozofa i pjesnika koji je zbog "glasnih misli" od kojih neke bijaše o heliocentrizmu, beskraju svemira i strukturi atoma, spaljen na lomači 1600. godine.

Na osnovu odluke Papinske inkvizicije, Galileo Galilei je osuđen na doživotni kućni pritvor u svojoj kući u Firenzi.

Can We Change

To a man who has observed the world, the misery, the wars, the endless sorrow of the human being, to him the scriptures, authority, beliefs, the rituals, the innumerable political speeches, the ideological and political commitments such as the Communist, Socialist, Congress, Democrat, Republican and or any other, have no meaning any more. And it will be absurd, childish, immature, to look to those to bring about a change in the world, to bring about a good society.
Seeing all this, as you must, one demands naturally:
Can human beings change?
Can you and I change?
Can you and I bring about in ourselves a mutation so profound that, as human beings, our relationship is based, not on temporary, convenient, self-centered activity?
Because what is most important is relationship. Unless there is a radical revolution in that relationship between two human beings, talking about God or about the scriptures, or going back to the Bible, the Quran, the Vedas, and the rest of it, is sheer nonsense. It has no meaning whatsoever, unless we establish right relationship between human beings, how to bring a fundamental revolution in our relationship so that there will be no war, so that countries are not divided by nationalities, by frontiers, by class differences and so on. Unless we, you and I, establish such a relationship, not theoretically, not ideologically, not hypothetically, but actually, factually, there is bound to be a greater and greater decline and deterioration.
So a radical transformation of the human being is absolutely essential. Because most of us are still animals.If you have observed animals, you will know how closely related we are! You observe the dog, a pet you know! How jealous he is! How he loves to be praised, to be petted and so on, like human beings!
So there is a very close relationship between the animal and the human being. Unless that animal in us is completely transformed do what you will - have the most extravagant ideologies, commit yourself to any political, religious or economic group, you are not going to solve the problem at all...

Udruženje Humanista Crne Gore - Ethikos

II sastanak je održan u Podgorici, 21.03.2015.


Zaključci:

1. Izvrsena je podjela tehnickih zadataka (izrada pecata- Zvonko R., formulisanje djelatnosti udruzenja- Dragan M) i dogovoreno je da ce Vizija udruzenja biti formulisana online koordinacijom clanova.

2. Zadat je rok od mjesec dana za obavljanje tehnickih zadataka (prikupljanje dokumentacije, sastavljanje Statuta i sl), nakon cega ce NVO biti zvanicno registrovana.

3. Usvojena je odluka o postojanju clanarine koja ce iznositi 36,00 eura na godisnjem, odnosno 3,00 eura na mjesecnom nivou.

4. Odluceno je da se organizuje konkurs za najbolje idejno rjesenje loga udruzenja.

5. Usvojeni su okvirni ciljevi udruzenja, izmedju ostalih: sirenje humanisticke misli, zalaganje za ocuvanje I razvoj demokratije i ljudskih prava, pospjesivanje formalnog I neformalnog obrazovnja, uspjesnije odvajanje drzavnog aparata od svih vjerskih institucija, dogmi I indoktrinacija, razvijanje kriticke misli, naucnog pristupa u rjesavanju savremenih problema I visokog novoa drustvene odgovornosti kod gradjana.
6. Sledeci sastanak bice odrzana 25.aprila 2015.godine, precizniji podaci o sastanku bice naknadno objavljeni.

Blijedo Plava Tacka

Sa ovog udaljenog mijesta, Zemlja mozda izgleda beznacajna, ali za nas je drugacije. Pogledajte ponovo tu tacku. To je ovde. To je dom. To smo mi. Na njoj, svi koje volite, svi koje poznajete, svi za koje ste ikad culi, svako ljudsko bice koje je ikad postojalo zivjelo je tu. Skup svih nasih radosti i patnji, hiljade samouvjerenih religija, ideologija i ekonomskih doktrina, svaki lovac i svaki skupljac, svaki heroj i svaki plasljivac, svaki stvaralac i razarac civilizacije, svaki kralj i seljak, svaki mladi zaljubljeni par, svaka majka i svaki otac, dijete puno nade, pronalazac i istrazivac, svaki ucitelj morala, svaki korumpirani politicar, svaka superzvjezda, svaki vrhunski vodja, svaki svetac i gresnik u istoriji nase vrste svi smo zivjeli tamo, na cestici prasine zaklonjenoj zrakom Sunca.
Zemlja je veoma mala scena u nepreglednoj kosmickoj areni. Sjetite se rijeka krvi koju su prolili svi oni generali i vladari, da bi u slavi i trijumfu postali momentalni vladari dijelica tacke. Sijetite se beskrajnih okrutnosti pocinjenih od strane stanovnika jednog piksela prema jedva prepoznatljivim stanovnicima nekog drugog coska, njihovih toliko cestih nesporazuma, tolike njihove zelje da ubiju jedni druge, njihove zarke mrznje.

Nase zablude, nase umisljeno samouvazavanje, obmana da imamo neki privilegovani polozaj u svemiru su suocene sa ovom blijedom tackom. Nasa planeta je usamljena mrlja prekrivena velikom kosmickom tamom. U nasoj bezizrazajnosti u svom tom prostranstvu, ne postoji nikakav znak da ce pomoc doci s nekog drugog mijesta da nas spasi od nas samih.
Zemlja je jedino mijesto za koje znamo da sadrzi zivot. Ne postoji ni jedno drugo mijesto, bar ne u skoroj buducnosti, dje bi nasa vrsta mogla migrirati. Posjetiti, da. Naseliti, ne jos. Svidjalo vam se ili ne, Zemlja je mijesto dje se trenutno nalazimo.
Kazu da je astronomija pokorno iskustvo koje izgradjuje karakter. Vjerovanto ne postoji bolji pokazatelj gluposti, ljudske sujete od ove slike naseg svijeta sa udaljenosti. Za mene, ona naglasava nasu odgovornost da se jedni prema drugima odnosimo ljubaznije, i da sacuvamo i negujemo blijedo plavu tacku, jedini dom za koji znamo...

If Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia, and Montenegro all became Atheist do you think they'd reunite?

Yugoslavia was a wonderful idea, that superseded petty self interest, that tried to unite the republics as separate entities with a common goal, sharing the ties of culture, language and tradition. Religion was an obstacle, that's why communists very intelligently didn't ban it, but made it a laughable thing, sort of disrespectful to be engaging in for any rational, intelligent man.

However, with the death of Yugoslavia, extreme religion emerged (look up clerofashism) where the priests again emerged as "guardians of morals and the people", supporting war, violence against homosexuals or any liberal values, and trying to invoke the moral authority of a 13th century institution. Problem with Balkan people is that they are much more emotional than rational, and will buy that.

So to answer the question, if Balkan people evolve so much to understand the danger of tradition invoking religion and can overcome the divisions of the past, yeah, they would.

Grow Up Or Die

The irony of religion is that because of its power to divert man to destructive courses, the world could actually come to an end. The plain fact is, religion must die for mankind to live. The hour is getting very late to be able to indulge in having in key decisions made by religious people. By irrationalists, by those who would steer the ship of state not by a compass, but by the equivalent of reading the entrails of a chicken. George Bush prayed a lot about Iraq, but he didn't learn a lot about it. Faith means making a virtue out of not thinking. It's nothing to brag about. And those who preach faith, and enable and elevate it are intellectual slaveholders, keeping mankind in a bondage to fantasy and nonsense that has spawned and justified so much lunacy and destruction. Religion is dangerous because it allows human beings who don't have all the answers to think that they do. Most people would think it's wonderful when someone says, "I'm willing, Lord! I'll do whatever you want me to do!" Except that since there are no gods actually talking to us, that void is filled in by people with their own corruptions and limitations and agendas. And anyone who tells you they know, they just know what happens when you die, I promise you, you don't. How can I be so sure? Because I don't know, and you do not possess mental powers that I do not. The only appropriate attitude for man to have about the big questions is not the arrogant certitude that is the hallmark of religion, but doubt. Doubt is humble, and that's what man needs to be, considering that human history is just a litany of getting shit dead wrong. This is why rational people, anti-religionists, must end their timidity and come out of the closet and assert themselves. And those who consider themselves only moderately religious really need to look in the mirror and realize that the solace and comfort that religion brings you actually comes at a terrible price. If you belonged to a political party or a social club that was tied to as much bigotry, misogyny, homophobia, violence, and sheer ignorance as religion is, you'd resign in protest. To do otherwise is to be an enabler, a mafia wife, for the true devils of extremism that draw their legitimacy from the billions of their fellow travelers. If the world does come to an end here, or wherever, or if it limps into the future, decimated by the effects of religion-inspired nuclear terrorism, let's remember what the real problem was that we learned how to precipitate mass death before we got past the neurological disorder of wishing for it. That's it. Grow up or die.

 

 

SAMO JE OVCAMA POTREBAN PASTIR

Komunizam, fasizam i nacizam su priblizno isti, kada je rijec o ubistvima, zlocinima i licemjerstvu tj. komunizam je i dalje broj 1 kada su u pitanju ubistva. Ljudi cesto poistovjecuju komunizam sa ateizmom, sto je potpuno pogresno. Komunizam, fasizam, nacizam i svi drugi totalitarni rezimi mozda ne praktikuju religiju itd. Medjutim, tu postoji jedan drugi fenomen, a to je da u takvim rezimima covjek postaje tkz. bog i onda je on nesto sveto, posebno i samo ispravno. Fenomen koji je poznat kao: kult vodje!

Kada je rijec o Hitleru, postoje razlicita misljenja da li je bio vjernik ili ne. Medjutim, cinjenica je da je on bio vjernik, on je vjerovao da je on taj koji je izabran od boga, on je vjerovao da je sve sto on radi ustvari zelja bozija i da ga je bog licno poslao da pobije sto je vise moguce ljudi.

Ateizam, rijec koju ljudi potpuno pogresno tumace, mnogi ljudi se sada izjasnjavaju kao "secular humanist" jer velika vecina identifikuje ateizam sa komunizmom, fasizmom itd. sto naravno nema nikakvog smisla. Kao sto je Sam Harris rekao u svojoj knjizi "Pismo upuceno hriscanima" "Ateizam nije filozofija, to nije cak ni pogled na svijet, jednostavno, to je prihvatanje cinjenicnog stanja. U stvari Ateista kao termin nije nikad trebao ni da postoji".

Cesto me pitaju: "Zasto mene krivis za stvari koje drugi vjernici rade, nisam uradio nista lose"?!

Da, krivim tebe i sve ostale vjernike zato sto slijepo vjerujete u stvari koje su napisane u neku zastarelu knjigu i u stvari koje vam popovi pricaju, pri tom ne shvatate koliko je sve to besmisleno i glupo! Niko od nas nije rodjen kao vjernik, religija nam je nametnuta od strane roditelja! Njihovi roditelji su je nametnuli njima i tako sve par stotina, hiljada godina unazad...

Jednostavno mi je ne-shvatljivo da ljudi uprkos svim informacija koje su im dostupne danas i dalje odbijaju da sagledaju cinjenice, i dalje odbijaju da vide istinu, i dalje odbijaju da vide koliko stete i razora religija izaziva sirom svijeta.

Tradicija, rijec koju obicno koriste ljudi koji o religiji znaju, NISTA.

Da, lijepo je da postujemo nase roditelje i porodicu, ali ako ikada shvatis da nesto nije u redu i da nema smisla, ne bi trebalo da nastavis da slijepo radis to sto ti tradicija kaze (namece). Pocnite da razmisljate svojom glavom, pitajte kada vam nesto nije jasno, ako ikada dodjete do tacke kada mislite da sve znate, to znaci da ste u stvari mrtvi, mrtvi u intelektualnom smislu, sto se u sustini ne razlikuje mnogo od smrti kao smrti… Ljudi bez maste, ljudi koji nemaju vise nijedno pitanje da postave su ustvari NISTA (nemam pravu rijec za njih, ali su uglavnom, NISTA)

Kao sto je dobro poznato, hriscanstvo ima dosta primjesa drugih religija, vjerovanja koja datiraju stotinama, hiljadama godina prije hriscanstva, ustvari cinjenica je da hriscanstvo nije nista vise od remiksovanog paganizama. Da li neko stvarno misli da prica o postojanju ima ikakvog smisla? Da li neko misli da je biblija koja sadrzi na hiljade kontradiknosti, biblija koja je puna nasilja, ubistava, silovanja, pjancenja stvarno rijec bozija?

 Ako to mislite, onda mi vas je zaista zao. AMEN ;)

It Is Time For Changes

The social values of our society, which has manifested in perpetual warfare, corruption, oppressive laws, social stratification, irrelevant superstitions, environmental destruction, and a despotic socially indifferent profit oriented ruling class; is fundamentally the result of a collective ignorance of two of the most basic insights humans can have about reality. The emergent and symbiotic aspects of natural law.

The emergent nature of reality is that all systems; whether it is knowledge, society, technology, philosophy, or any other creation; will, when uninhibited, undergo fluid perpetual change.

What we consider commonplace today such as modern communication and transportation, would have been unimaginable in ancient times. Likewise, the future will contain technologies, realizations, and social structures that we cannot even fathom in the present.

We have gone from alchemy to chemistry, from a geocentric universe to a heliocentric, from believing that demons were the cause of illness to modern medicine. This development shows no sign of ending, and it is this awareness that aligns us and leads us on a continuous path to growth and progress.

Static empirical knowledge does not exist, rather it is the insight of the emergence of all systems we must recognize. This means we must be open to new information at all times, even if it threatens our current belief system, and hence, identities. Sadly society today has failed to recognize this, and the established institutions continue to paralyze growth by preserving outdated social structures.

Simultaneously, the population suffers from a fear of change. For their conditioning assumes a static identity and challenging ones belief system, usually results in insult and apprehension. For being wrong is erroneously associated with failure. When in fact to be proven wrong should be celebrated. It is elevating someone to a new level of understanding, furthering awareness. The fact is, there is no such thing as a smart human being, for it is merely a matter of time before their ideas are updated, changed, or irradiated.

And this tendency to blindly hold on to a belief system, sheltering it from new possibly transforming information is nothing less than a form of intelectual materialism. The monetary system perpetuates this materialism not only by it’s self-preserving structures, but also throught the countless number of people who have been conditioned into blindly and thoughtlessly upholding these structures, therefore becoming self-appointed guardians of the status quo. Sheep which no longer need a sheep-dog to control them. For they control each other by ostracizing those who step out of the norm.

This tendency to resist change and uphold existing institutions for the sake of identity, comfort, power and profit is completely unsustainable; and will only produce further imbalance, fragmentation, distortion, and very invariably destruction.

It’s time to change.

From hunters and gatherers, to the agricultural revolution, to the industrial revolution, the pattern is clear. It is time for a new social system which reflects the understandings we have today.

It Is All One

I think I spent 30 years of my life, the first 30 trying to become something. I wanted to become good at things, I wanted to become good at tennis and school and grades. And everything I kinda viewed in that perspective I’m not okay the way I am, but if I got good at things… I realized that I had the game wrong, because the game was to find out what I already was. 

Now, in our culture we have been trained for individual differences to stand out, so you look at each person and the immediate hit is… brighter, dumber, older, younger, richer poorer… and we make all these dimensional distinctions, put them in categories and treat them that way. And get so we only see others as separate from ourselves in the ways in which they are separate. And one of the dramatic characteristics of experience is being with another person and suddenly seeing the ways in which they are like you not different from you. And experiencing the fact that that which is essence in you; which is essence in me is indeed, one. The understanding that there is no other…it is all one. I wasn’t born Richard Albert, I was just born as a human being and then I learn this whole business of who I am, whether I’m good or bad, achieving or not… all that’s learned along the way.

The old appeals of racial, sexual and religious shovanism to rabid nationalistic fervor… are beginning not to work. A new consciousness is developing which sees the earth as a single organism… and recognizes: an organism at war with itself is doomed.

First of all, embryos at this stage can split into identical twins. Is this a case of one soul splitting into two souls? Embryos at this stage can fuse into a chimera. What has happened to the extra human soul in such a case? This is intellectually indefensible, but it’s morally indefensible given that these notions really are prolonging scarcely endurable misery of tens of millions of human beings, and because of the respect we accord religious faith, we can’t have this dialogue in the way that we should. I submit to you that if you think the interests of a three-day-old blastocyst trump the interests of a little girl with spinal cord injuries or a person with full-body burns, your moral intuitions have been obscured by religious metaphysics.” 

If there is no god, why be good?

As Einstein said, "If people are good only because they fear punishment, and hope for reward, then we are sorry indeed." Michael Sherman, in The Sicence of Good and Evil, calls it a debate stopper. If you agree that, in absence of god, you would commit robbery, rape and murder, you reveal yourself as an immoral person and we would be well advised to steer a wide course around you. If, on the other hand you admit that you would continue to be a good person even when not under divine surveillance, you have fatally undermined your claim that god is necessary for us to be good. I suspect that quite a lot of religious people do think religion is what motivates them to be good, especially if they belong to one of those faiths that systematically exploits personal quilt.
It seems to me to require quite a low self-regard to think that, should belief in god suddenly vanish from the world, we would all become callous and selfish hedonist with no kindness, no charity, no generosity, nothing that would deserve the name of goodness.
